The restaurant was very good and the staff were very helpful. It was a beautiful place to stay. I had a room with a balcony overlooking the fjord. It has big verandas with seating for socializing before and after dinner particularly.

Eidfjord Hotel ligger i Eidfjord och har en trädgård, en terrass, en restaurang och en bar. We arrived when the restaurant had just closed. But since we were so hungry and simply wanted spaghetti with tomato sauce the cook decided to still fix something up for us. We enjoyed dinner with a great view! The staff is friendly, helpful, and very attentive. We also liked that they offer a charging station for electric cars. (Though it would be even better if there were more in case one is taken) We are very glad we stayed here instead of the other big hotel in Eidfjord which had a huge cruiseship in front of it the next morning.

Nice hotel with comfy beds and beautiful landscape, size of family room and bath good. Staff very friendly. Facilities with good options close to sentrum and perfect breaksfast with good taste. The breakfast was the largest and best free breakfast we have ever had at a hotel! The historic side of the hotel was fantastic for a coffee/tea break and meals. We had a very large (two-bedroom) suite in the newer wing of the hotel. It included a kitchen where we baked a supermarket pizza one evening. The balcony had a beautiful view looking down the fjord.
