It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. I don’t know from where I should start, the staff were extremely helpful, nice very friendly and professional. We booked room with onsen with fuji Mountain View which was a heavenly view! I would go back again for sure!

The air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Asafuji have Shoji paper screens and a low table with floor chairs and cushions. Each room includes a fridge, private toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor is provided. Yukata robes are offered for guests. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were able to get a shuttle to/from the station that suited our timetable and also a ride to the doorway. The food was beautiful and delicious, we always looked forward to our meals. Great view of Mt Fuji and the location was very close to some great photo spots so you could roll out of bed to capture the sunrise over the mountain. Would highly recommend this place!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. Staff, location and vibe were amazing. Highly recommend. A really layed back set up, but with all the comforts you need. Suggest stopping to get a fresh lobster and request the BBQ from the staff, was so good.

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. Had to check in early which wasn't a problem. The two staff were great - they speak English quite well, and were very patient with our very poor Japanese. Dinner + Breakfast is really good (but you do need to let them know you would like to have dinner when you are making your booking).

The other older lady was very helpful and hospitable as well and we can't praise them enough for making our stay so memorable!

Yoshi, was the best host who went out of his way with his pleasing smile to take care of my mother and me. Well located with an amazing view for the Mt Fuji, this property exceeded my expectations. The hospitality of the owner as well as the staff makes you feel so comfortable and welcomed. The rooms and the other facilities in the property are well cleaned and of great quality.
